Episode #38
Dangerous Road
This episode picks right up where the last one left off with Sakura having given Mokona a feather to hold on to and the gang gang travelling to the next world.
Mokona's portal opens in the new world and they all get up off the ground to make sure they are all okay. Mokona then decides to return Sakura's feather to her so he opens up his mouth (where he was storing it) and extracts it for Sakura to take. As soon as the feather leaves his mouth however a huge truck appears and almost runs them over! They had all landed in the middle of a road!
Everyone dives for cover. After the truck passes they all get up to check again on each other. They're all fine though it appears the feather had become stuck in one of the truck's exhaust vents and the truck is long gone! They all decide to follow the truck on foot having no form of transport.
After a while of walking a bus eventually drives up and stops to let them on. Unfortunately because they had all just arrived in this world, they don't yet have any of the local currency to pay for their tickets! Luck smiles on them thankfully as Yuzuriha (from X/1999!) pops her head out of the door and offers to pay for their tickets if they help her with her problem. She seems rather desperate and the gang needs to catch up to the truck so they accept her offer and all board the bus.
As soon as they get on they find that the bus is on auto pilot and that it is populated by numerous faces of CLAMP characters they had seen in other worlds! One of whom is Qian Qang an old man who appears to be Yuzuriha's problem. Apparently the old guy keeps trying to talk to her but she doesn't seem to understand what he's going on about. She asks the gang to talk to him for them. Kurogane get's stuck with the task while the others talk about Sakura's feather.
While they're all talking they spot Shougo eavesdropping on them. He seems to be an okay guy in this world but wanted to know if Syaoran and everyone were on the bus because of him and his girlfriend, Primera. They answer no (because they're not) and he leaves them to their conversation.
Mokona comments on how the truck with the feather is moving fast but they may be able to catch up to it.
Down the middle of the bus, Chitose eyes the sleeping Sakura and Yuzuriha and comments on how she wishes she was like them.
Eventually they catch up to the truck at a pit stop but unfortunately some objects fall onto the road so Syaoran has to run on foot to catch up to the truck which has just started to move again (it appears to be automated)! Realising that he's not going to make it, Syaoran grabs a piece of rope and lasos the truck but the vehicle moves too fast and he ends up being slammed against a billboard and falling to the ground.
Sakura and everyone run up to him. He is slightly injured but okay.
While Sakura is tending to the injured Syaoran outside, Yuzuriha walks back inside the bus and suggests to the other passengers that they should help Syaoran and the gang get their feather back. They all give her the cold shoulder and offer several excuses on why they shouldn't. Sakura enters and thanks Yuzuriha for her effort and kindness.
The bus moves on and night falls.
In the middle of the night the bus alarms are activated. Apparently a group of bikers are approaching the bus. The monitors inside the bus show a large group heading their way.
Chitose says that they have nothing to worry about, that the bus' defense system will protect them, however the automatic lasers are soon rendered useless by a particle missile that fills the air with reflective dust that messes with the laser targeting system.
As more missiles decend on the bus, Kurogane and Syaoran promise to defend everyone and walk outside to take on the bikers armed only with their swords. Everyone is shocked as they leave.
Outside, Kurogane asks if Syaoran's plan is to take the bikers our and steal their bikes to go get the feather. Syaoran confirms that it is and they both charge into battle, hugely outnumbered.

 Primera: The lil' fairy from Magic Knight Rayearth II returns for her second Tsubasa crossover again as Shougo's girlfriend and as a pop idol.
 Shougo: This cool X/1999 Dragon is back for his third crossover and for the second time he is Primera's man. Lucky guy.
 Yuzuriha: The popular X/1999 school girl returns for another appearance and quickly becomes friends with Sakura once more.
 Qian Qang: Another Magic Knight Rayearth II character returns in this arc in the form of the mysterious Qian Qang.
 Chitose: Chobits's and Kobato's Chitose also returns and shows us her usual knack for technology and compassion.
